Seller was awesome and they shipped super fast!
I had them installed at the MB service department. It took them about 30 min and they charged me about $35 for labor... Worth it to me. Also, I had them keep the white bulbs instead of the chrome because the chrome ones still showed orange light when they were activated.
I think they are WORLDS better than the orange eye sores. You can see the comparison to my signature pic.

I remember when I just got my C 3 years ago the 1st day they had the clear side markers out I juumped on them and I think they're like a "must have" on our rides
Congratulations on the nice ride !!
Next up: tinted windows.
But first I have to resolve my "check engine" light that just came on today.

Oh, and I forgot ... also have to replace my front right tire as there is a screw stuck in the sidewall.

Along with the 3 inch scratch on the car, it has not been a good first month of ownership!

Then the nightmare: The clear ones seems to be a bit larger or different than the originals. While i was trying to make it fit, the tip of the marker got broke (the one that is more to the front of the car). I put some clear super glue and tried again. Now it fit. But have a lot of troubles trying to make the back of the marker get into the strap (on the black piece inside). And worse of all, the marker scratched the paint and because is clear, you can see an ugly black spot under de marker. Solution: Back to the orange ones.
If some one knows a vendor on Ebay that has clear side markers that fit perfectly on the E350 W212, please post the link.
Thanks.
than the rest......we just modded it with some sticky rubber to make it stay in better, but it slides out a tad........but I can just push it back in......kind of annoying

Hey where do you go to paint the side markers completely black and how much would it be around?
Some jurisdictions even enforce this through their police forces. In theory, this is "operating a vehicle with defective equipment" that could result in a ticket and - if you are obnoxious to the cop - an impound and tow.
While I've heard of animpound for sidemarkers (impounds for aftermarket headlights are not unheard of) it certainly is possible.

We have to legislate for the dumbest amongst us.
If you are in an area that has periodic inspections and that jurisdiction checks for sidemarkers then you'll fail inspection.
More importantly, if you are involved in an accident then your insurance company may deny you coverage if your car is missing a Federally mandated safety device.
Now you have more facts to make your own educated decision.
I am going to let everyone know he said that come time to inspect, and I am going to see it happen.......
dealers will say ANYTHING........lol
