I seemed to remember my 2010 and 2011 E's having 50% German parts listed separately (next to) the MSRP window sticker (same for the W204 C Class and GLK at the time).

When M-B switched to the "new style" window sticker with the parts content actually on the MSRP sticker, they all of a sudden listed 73% German parts on the E Class, C Class, etc.

Anybody save the little separate paper on the 2010 and maybe even 2011 cars that stated the parts content?

I don't know if I'm getting old and my memory is already going or if somehow 23% German parts content got added simultaneously when the new window stickers were being used.

I saved everything but don't have a sticker that says anything about the source of parts.

Since I took delivery less than an hour after viewing the car (which had been in the dealer's new car stock for 3 months), I'm inclined to believe there was no content sticker on the car. The Window sticker says nothing about parts.

This isn't about proving any members or threads viewpoints wrong, as meaningless as said viewpoints may or may not be. I'm actually curious. I remember when I got my W212's there was a separate sticker aside from the window sticker that showed a 50% German parts content, same for early W204's and GLK's, etc. Then in 2012 or whenever they changed the look of the MSRP window sticker and also added the parts content to it, there was a 73% figure. It's odd. I'm 99.8% sure my memory is serving me right regarding the 50% German parts content sticker on earlier W212's.

I checked the sticker from my 2010 and you're right, no parts content listed. And on my 2014, it lists 73% German parts.

Calm down. There's no ulterior motive here so no need to anticipate the dramatic (or entertainment if you see it that way). If anyone has or remembers the sticker, post it, otherwise the thread serves no purpose.

Thanks man. Just some simple, bitter and bored people looking for entertainment in the wrong places as far as I'm concerned.

The change in parts content is interesting to me. I'm pretty positive that before they changed their sticker "setup" the car showed a much different content list.
