Big jolt coming out of ECO

Since the last week when my E250 starts up after an ECO shutdown there is a big jolt. It is almost as if somebody bumped into me from the read at 5mph. I assume it is the transmission.

I will take it into the dealer when I get some time but until then, has anybody heard of this before?

Ed, Thanks for bringing this subject up. I've a 2014 E550 Cabriolet, and for the past week or so I have been experiencing exactly the symptoms that you describe, with the exception that it's not a "big jolt", but a more subtle one. I'm going to call our dealership on Monday and ask them to take a look at it.

This problem must be isolated to pilots. I'm making an assumption from your username as you can make an assumption from my avatar!

I have the exact same issue. Whenever my ride comes out of eco, it will be a jolt. I suspect it has something to do with the air conditioning.

I have twice now gotten the "Aux Battery Malfunction" on startup. A quick search of the forum here shows that these two are tied together. So, I suspect the battery malfunction is causing the ECO start jolt.

Never been a big fan of the start/stop system on MB. Very jolting when engine cuts off and on IMO. No comment on the jolt you're feeling as to me the roughness of the system is more of a shutter as the engine cuts in and out. If your car is jolting forward, yes, dealer visit definitely called for. Good luck.

I doubt that the Aux battery malfunction has anything to do with the jolt. I have received such warning before but the battery was replaced under warranty. I'm arranging a dealer visit soon.

Konigstiger posted a bulletin about the oil pump not working right when coming out of eco, perhaps this is related

Hey Peter, tried searching for the bulletin on his post but couldn't find it. Will very much appreciate it if you can happen to provide links to this.
