Too much oil?
Last week I had the oil changed in my 2012 E350. When it was ready I noticed that it said they put in 7 quarts of mobile one 0-40. The owners manual says 6.91 quarts. Should some be syphoned out?
i know I worry too much and this may be a picky thing but I need to sleep at night!

I’m sure the ticket was just rounded to 7. Listing 6.91 is awkward

Even on my 1999 SL500 there was an intermittent warning on the dash for High Oil ...
I checked the dip stick and tried to convince myself it was OK ...
I called the Mechanic - he said no problem to symphonies some out. Better not to have too much oil.
Then no worries.
The E Class probably has a sophisticated on dash warning.
In fact just today I got a warning “Check Left Licence Plate Light” ... sure enough - it is burnt out. MB making sure one does not get pulled over ... or look unkept.

I wish they’d go back to the flat dipstick that didn’t have that piece of plastic on the end. It’s too hard for us old folks to read
I syphoned out a bit this morning and it still looks high. I think I’ll go back to changing my own oil from now on. I like knowing exactly how much was put in!

Beware that MB dipstick have orings on the top. When the oring holds, cooling air in the tube create vacuum, what sucks oil in it, showing more than actually is.
Proper way is to recheck, or if you can pull the dipstick up couple of cm, leave it overnight, than in the morning push all the way in and then pull for checking.
