Am I the first US W212 to have this unlocked? Videos coming - I can confirm that the enhanced front fog light is active. The rest I will try to capture tonight.

Trying to film this with an iPhone is not working out. But I did manage to capture a rather lousy photo of the car doing its thing and shielding the car in front while maintaining high beam. This is a huge upgrade in illumination and night driving safety. It works exactly as the Benz videos about the system explains. It has the enhanced fog light, the adaptive high beam assist plus, motorway mode. The lights are very active at constantly shaping the beam pattern to the surroundings. I am very happy to have this.

If you have a facelift (unsure if he can do the pre-facelift) W212 and have the ILS system, you need this. It changes night driving. And Vladimir is the real deal.

This was coding only - no hardware swapping whatsoever.
Vladimir is active on the forums. I saw his post on the W213 forum and inquired about the W212 since he said he had success getting full ILS on MY2016+ cars with options 608/640. My car is a 2016 and has both of those codes, so he was able to get it to work for me.
You'll need to contact him about pricing. My case was a bit different as I already had the OBD module from unlocking CarPlay and we did it differently.

my car(P1/P2) has LED lighting and code 608, but no code 640 in build sheet... seeing as haw the early w212 has ILS in ROW, I assume it can be coded into pre-facelift cars as well, though may not have all functions as facelift cars have. I send Vlad a message, let's see what he says...

You don’t have 640 because 640 is dynamic LED. Your 2012 has HID not LED.
608 is IHC - automatic high beams. That should be the key if he can make it work.
Some of the features are not possible with the HID setup as that is just one bulb where the LEDs have 2 modules, one with 24 diodes and one with 4, per headlight. But the HID cars should still be able to do things like enhanced fog lights and motorway mode. Assuming it can be activated.
FWIW, the is my 2014 build sheet. I'm gonna suspect that it will work with the face lifted W212s with lighting package.
Yes.. 640 and 608 were the exact codes he mentioned in the W213 forum, but he said MY2016+ so... he will verify via VIN. I can’t imagine a lot changed in terms of lighting between 2014 and 2016.

Ah, I didn't realize the "full led led ligh" package still used HIDs. Makes sense. VIN sent to Vlad, awaiting his reply...
I have a 2014 is this possible with star? Please pm me how much was the module as well? What about speed limit assist?
This was not done with DAS/Star. This was done with a OBDtune module. I was told speed limit assist will not work on US cars (I believe due to the shape and format of our signs).

And I’m not sure why. Looks like Vladimir is now helping a member with a pre-facelift get the ILS sorted. This is something many of us have been pursuing for a long time.

You’ll need to contact Vladimir for pricing but I did combine some things. When I initially ordered the module, CarPlay was what I wanted. I ended up getting that and also getting gas tank contents in the gauges so my car now shows how much fuel is in the tank down to .1 of a gallon.
Eco off by default was an option, as well. I did not select that.
