Service indicator after Dealer Visit
Took my 2016 E350 to the dealer since they were running a special on my A3 service. I just flipped 50k miles, they wanted to do plugs and air filter, told them told them to hold off.
After getting the car back, checked and noticed it says my next Service B9 is due in 365 days. Why Service B9? It's only had 1 Service B last year so I'm a bit confused.
Any ideas?
Thanks all for the help.

Plugs are due at 50,000 miles. My car is at 46k and also saying A3 is due - services 1, 3, 8, and 12.
1 - A service
3 - Oil/filter change
8 - Engine air filter
12 - Spark Plugs
It sounds like they confirmed partial service in the ASSYST menu. If you go into the "secret" menu, it will give you numerical codes for what all is due at B9. I suspect what you didn't let them do is part of the "9" in B9.

OP, go into the workshop menu: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...e-message.html
and select Assyst Plus and see what services (#s) are due. I never understood what A1, A3, B5, or B9 meant... I mean, I know what an A Service and B Service is. The number following... I'm not sure. In the workshop menu each service # corresponds to maintenance as LILBENZ320 posted.
Here's what I found it WIS:

I went through the MBNA recommended service for 2016 document I found on their website, and condensed and compiled it into this summary for my E350 4M... Now I filtered this by the options I have (Pano roof, etc). Caveat Emptor.
“A” Service at 12 months or 10,000 miles, then every 2 years or 20k (eg, odd 10k intervals)
“B” Service at 24 months or 20,000 miles, then every 2 years or 20k (eg, even 10k intervals)
Every 10k miles or year (A and B)
Every “B” (20k miles or 2 years)
Additional work:

So I checked my ASSYST menu and it says:
However it doesn't show Service 12 for Spark Plugs, so I'm wondering if they just marked it as complete despite the fact I didn't have them do them?
