W212 locating oil leak
What I found were several oily locations.
Please help me pinpoint what could be the cause.
One leak is minor on the right front side of the vehicle under the cooler
One minor leak on the side of front differential
One large above the transmission. Several drips over night with engine off. Initially I thought it's the sump seal but the oil stain goes up a long way.

Does the engine have high crankcase pressure??
Choices may be:
- camshaft rear plug(s)
- vacuum pump O-ring
- PCV cover
- rear main seal !
- dipstick grommet
- cooler lines
- .......
Leaks usually travel down. Try to start visual inspection from the top as much as possible... its not easy.
While you repair this oil leak near firewall also replace coolant elbow pipe at firewall.

It is definitely engine oil. I now completed changing all oils and after starting the engine, this spot next to auxiliary transmission pump started dripping. After half an hour there was already a small puddle on the floor.
I managed to film it with engine running:

I also made some pictures from above the engine and there are clear traces of oil right in front of the firewall.

The V engine valley also feature a drip hole that dumps on driver side.
Yesterday I tried locating those cam caps but could not find one. Can you assist? I saw some videos on V6 engine and I don't think location is the same.

Inspect the PCV cover for leaks.

wet head at valve cover
why ? because it's wet all the way up to valve cover gasket
Is it alone? probably not!
As soon as you fix valve cover another vent port is going to vent out high crankcase pressure.
None of the old seals can resist high pressure. Fix up PCV and discharge tube to help that out.
