Correct, I think BMW was the first to do this on their cars. Even non hybrids can have some regenerative braking so that the alternator doesn't have to work as hard, which equals less fuel consumption.

Nice to see pics of the 2nd screen. We ordered the package 3 with the extra screen. They didn't have a package 3 or any with the 2nd screen at the dealership. Have not been able to find any information as to what info is or can be displayed in the 2nd screen, so it's nice to see a picture.
How are the multi contour adjustable seats? Do both front seats have all of the adjustments, such as the massage function?
So after a couple of weeks with the car...i'm pretty much set on this screen setup for both screens. Pretty much offers all the information I need. I do have carplay, but have not really tried it yet.
The speech recognition on changing radio stations is very good too. much better than what i had in my 2002 W212
I have the standard Black ARTICO leather/DINAMICA microfibre sports seats. The seats are great. Fully adjustable, along with lumbar. no massage function.
Love having the sunroof too, when the British weather permits it!
Thanks. I asked because it looks darker than the natural grain brown ash but lighter than the natural grain black ash (at least how it shows up on the online "Build" configurator).
I am LOVING those european headlights. I think US headlights look ugly in general because of those amber reflectors. I'm planning to remove mine once I get my W213 in.

I just took delivery today and these are bugging me. Did you ever end up removing? Did you bake and open the light or replace the entire thing with the Euro version?

AFAIK the E300 does NOT have regenerative braking though some 213 models do have it. All models with the 48v system have regenerative braking. Plugin hybrids also have it.
