E43 AMG ordered, yay!
Ordered my first AMG last week, E43, fully loaded :-)
Cant't wait! Never had a 0-60 under 5 seconds car before. I was thinking about C63, but after testdriving the new E-Class I had no doubt. Hopefully the V6 biturbo will meet my expectations.
I live in Norway, but my plan is to pick it up at the factory in Sindelfingen, hopefully right before christmas :-) It's a 15 hour drive from where I live, and I get to drive it home on the autobahn ;-)

Yeah, the 2017 update looks awesome (especially the interior). I can't wait to see what they do with the new E63s.

I test drove an E300. The performance is marginal at best. It reminds me of my mid-70's 5 cyl E300D. Too bad the AMG 2.0L with 375 HP isn't offered in the E Class.

I think that a base E43 will sticker for about $65k. That's about $11k for the engine not counting additional features rolled into the base model such as Air Body Control, 4Matic and the 12.3" widescreen instrument cluster.
I really wish that the E400 would be released in the US. I'll probably end up buying either an MY17 E43 or a MY18 BMW 540i. Both should hit the US market near March 1, 2017.

Dang I might hold off for the E43 then if it starts around the 65k range. My fully loaded E300 comes in about 85k (before discount). Hoping a fully loaded E43 will come in around 90-100k.

I configured an E43 with similar equipment for a list of about $74k not counting the P03 package that isn't priced yet. It is important to note that the E43 has the 12.3" wide instrument display, Nappa leather, 19" wheels, 4Matic and air body control as standard.
The bottom line is that the price difference will be about the cost of P03.
That puts the price close to $90k. A matte finish and 3D sound will add another $10k.

Just posted latest order guide... See thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...ml#post6917305
I configured an E300 4Matic with 992, 215, P03, 322, 464, 489, 736, U80 and PAF for a list of about $74k.

I'm so conflicted right now whether to switch my order or not. I want the V6 engine and the amg tuned 4matic but it also snows here and I could also use the E300's soft ride. What do you guys think?

I was going back and forth too, my first order was for a october build 4-cylinder, but I couldn't stop thinking about that 400hp V6...

Thanks for the input guys! I pulled the trigger and asked the dealer to switch my order! I am so excited dealer told me he had to make sure the P3 package is available for that order as well (due to lack of P3 supply). Fingers crossed!
