Internet connectivity lost again!
Last night my internet connection went from online to offline. I can see that the system is trying to connect, but is failing. This happened two months ago and the dealer had to contact Germany to reload the VPN certificate. Sounds like the same issue again. I have a service appointment scheduled for next week to fix this. Anyone else having this issue?

Speedtest.net will measure your network speeds. Try it with your cellphone. They have an app (recommended) or you can use your browser.

Your numbers are off. The maximum average LTE upload speed in the US is about 2.4 megabytes. That is a slightly above 19 megabits.

So... back to the original issue.
The last two days have seen my connection going from Offline to Connecting to Offline consistently. I'm due for 'A' service so I'll let the dealer know but this service has been inconsistent at best. The pricing for the hotspot is quite reasonable - that is if the service works reliably.

Ours died during a recent trip from NC to Fla. We contacted Mbrace. The tech was very courteous. She said the a number of customers were having the problem and asked if we could stop the vehicle so that she could download a possible fix. We exited the Interstate and found a place to stop. She disconnected from the car system and sent the fix. The tech then called me on my cell to inquire about the download and I explained that it did not work. . She said that we would need to visit a dealer for a solution. We drove on for couple hours , stopped got some fuel and when we started the car, connectivity was restored. No problem(knock wood) since.

I had posted about this problem previously. I have had this problem consistently and had been to the dealer about 3 times to talk about the issue. It is a known issue on the MBRACE side and the tech's have a sheet stating it will a patch that fixes the issue end of Feb early March from the paperwork I was shown.

It can be difficult to change internet providers. In my neighborhood my choice is to go with the monopoly provider ($45/mo) or go without. That said, the only thing wrong with that provider is the slow speed of 100 mb/s is the only speed available. Folks on the other side of the golf course have gigabit service.
