Bluetooth Mic Issues on 2020 E 350
Hello,
I recently upgraded to a 2020 E 350, and have been having issues placing calls over Bluetooth. It seems the receiver can hardly hear what I am saying, but I can hear them loud and clear. I have an Iphone X and did turn up the Bluetooth volume on the phone, and also tried bumping up the transmission volume on the car, to no avail. Anyone here know of any setting that I have to set up, to get the car's mic to work properly over Bluetooth for an Iphone X?

Thanks - I was told by a customer service agent to use the Me Connect services to resolve this issue. They mentioned to use the Me Connect button in the car and let them know of the issue - I guess the volume will be low on their end when i do this. It might be a software reset or setting rather than a hardware is what I was told. I'll see if they can resolve this.

A few months old... Any update on this? I have a car out of warranty (2019) which has this issue. I purchased second hand so I don't know if it is a new problem or always there... I replaced the microphone to see if that helps and it did not. Passenger side works fine and for some reason it seems voice command works fine. (I can whisper softly into the mic to Navigate or request a call) but when I connect, the other party cannot hear me.

Thank you. Did you have the dealer do it? I'll call and set up an appointment is so. Was also wondering if this is something Mercedes Me can do remotely? My closest dealer isn't very close... but I can get to one if needed.

We have a 20 GLE450…drivers mic is garbage. What exactly did the dealer do, and was your issue caused by a previous update or was it always present? Would help us all to have the info from your work order. Thanks.

Basically replace COMAND unit, in your case the MBUX head unit.
