Internet through LTE Communications module
Hi
My 2018 W213 is equipped with LTE module but the Mercedes me services are not available in my country, Egypt despite the huge no. of MB cars in the market.
The infotainment is displaying 4G network reception, any advice how to connect to the internet bypassing the MB dealer, is there a Sim card that can be inserted in the module? Any similar idea?
Appreciate your help.

Much better reception compared to the mobile data.
you need your car connected to the internet so you can benefit from Mercedes me features.
if you have some free time parking, you can spend the time watching a movie on the infotainment display.

i don't agree;
my mobile reception was always better than the car
and 2nd: to have Mercedes me working you don't need an internet subscription

How can you remotely start the car, AC, locate where the car is parking? Without internet to the car?
My car is equipped with remote parking and I’m unable to use it because of that.

- Please note that Mercedes me connect services are only available for Mercedes-Benz vehicles in selected model series, although not in all countries. Your Mercedes-Benz dealer will be happy to provide advice about the necessary equipment and options for your vehicle.
- The provision of the Mercedes me connect services is via a SIM card installed in the car and depends upon the availability of network coverage. The cost of connecting the vehicle to the Daimler AG server will be borne by Daimler AG.VI
- The linking of a vehicle with the Mercedes me connect services can only be undertaken by a participating authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer and following presentation of the necessary authorisation documents. The customer can then define other persons as co-users.

all these services work without a an internet subscription. (provided you bought them as they are not free)
if mercedes me is not working in egypt, then you won't get it to work by getting internet in your car
