Agreed, line for line to the power of 10.. What especially caught my eye was; "I wash my own car." .. Ditto for us. When keeping autos for a decade or more,, looking after them comes easy. .
Cheers,, enjoyed the list!

QUOTE=JTK44;8766259]Not that anyone asked:
I wash my own car. I can tell you that cleaning those multi spoke wheels will be a b*tch!
I am a traditionalist: I prefer the luxury grill and star on the hood. If it become available in the US, I would opt for it.
Hyperscreen or whatever Mercedes will call it: TMI!!! I cannot imagine a passenger watching a movie. The passenger is there for conversation and company - not to "veg" out on a movie
Lack of buttons: Using buttons is intuitive: Using a screen takes your attention away from driving: you must LOOK at the screen to change functions. I fully realize that there is a cost savings by having as much as possible on the screen rather than buttons. I wonder when the first law suit will happen when the driver, passenger or driver/passenger of the other vehicles sues claiming distraction because of looking at the screen to change the temperature, the radio, etc.
I think the new design is elegant. But I also think my 2019 E450 is elegant and I love the full screen and wood in my car!
Since they did not have pricing at the time I ordered it, we did not discuss if they will discount. That discussion is yet to happen. This will be my 7th car bought with the same sales guy and 9th from the dealership. I'm expecting some kind of discount, but we will see.
My salesperson in NJ just sent me a text that the E350s have been released. This dealer has a few sitting in Baltimore so they expect them at the dealer in about 10 days. I am glad to hear this news since I have an E450 with a build date in April. I just hope that Mercedes has resolved the 48 volt battery issue.
I'm scheduled for production in May and delivery in June. I tried asking for the lower dash to match the interior trim (Tonka Brown in our case) and my salesman brought it up with MBUSA but unfortunately they said there is no way to get the lower dash in the interior color at the moment.
My build sheet is still not showing the MSRP but going by the order guide and plugging the numbers in, my MSRP is around 90k since I have spec'd pretty much every option.

Don't know if you saw this MBWorld article. It was posted in another thread also.
I drove an E350 today. As reported, rides like an S-Class. 4 cylinder is decent but I ordered an E450 which is about $5k more than the one I drove (MSRP $81,570). Took some pics of one in the showroom. I drove the exact car and color since they have 2 E350 which are clones. BTW, these cars don't have Homelink garage door openers so a credit is given! Crazy for an $81k car!
Robert, did the dealer mention that the lack of Homelink will be a problem going forward on new builds?
Not Robert, but it’s only affecting the early build standardized “showroom unit” cars. Every car I’ve seen a window sticker for past that (dealer/custom orders, vins higher then about 013000) have the home link.
Does anyone know why the US gets this standard steering wheel on a AMG line but the European cars have the AMG steering wheel which I have seen in many videos?
I have that wood trim in my 21 GLE 450 except its glossy and still looks fantastic. that interior in the showroom is not leather. still insane for a car costing this much.
