I don't think they are producing diamond white eqs suv's until December. Having said that I have a diamond white GL450 and it is a huge difference vs. polar white which is just a "plain" white. The diamond white has a beautiful shimmery metallic look.

love diamond white. have owned it thrice. But also love polar. Easier to touch up, always pure white in all lighting conditions
I like the Emerald Green but I have to say the gloss black wheel arches look off on cars which have dark colored paint. They fit best on white, silver and gray.

I'm not crazy about MB's decision to make the wheel arches black (gloss black for the AMG package). I bought a black EQS 580 SUV and the wheel arches disappear which is fine by me. I think they should offer optional body color paint for the wheel arches. The black arches on lighter colors make the wheel openings look much larger and wheels smaller.
Even on a black EQS SUV you can see the wheel arches are not body color.
In order for the wheel arches to be body colored you would have to choose color code 040 Black (nonmetallic) as opposed to 197 Obsidian Black metallic. I actually also went with Obsidian Black metallic as well and was worried it would look off in person but it looks fine unless you really look at it in a certain angle and lighting (my initial custom order plan was 040 Black thinking the metallic would look off against the gloss back trim). As I browsed in stock inventory I did notice most cars are 197 Obsidian Black metallic as opposed to 040 Black. I have not been able to see an 040 color code in person yet... Although Mercedes Benz of Cincinnati is getting one probably in a month or two.
