How do I turn this into a link? It’s a very interesting article from CNBC.

Probably one area that the F1 tech not too applicable to EQ cars.

Achieving noise isolation and refinement takes a lot of weight, there is no way around physics. In addition, I mean Tesla didn't even bother to put in decent equipment like an instrument panel, HUD, proper rain sensor, ultrasonic sensors, radar, front camera (and the list goes on...) for their Model 3/Y
With increased weight from higher level of luxury, equipment and refinement, you will inevitably reduce efficiency.
Just like I don't buy ICE car based on best fuel consumption, most EV buyers won't consider efficiency as deal breakers as long as it is decent; range is much more important.

I won't care about "best" efficiency if it is done at the expense of refinement and luxury.
If they have to use a larger battery to make up for the decrease in efficiency, so be it.
That's why I will not consider any of the current Teslas, even if they can achieve world record "efficiency".
just compare model x vs EQS SUV, the efficiency between two cars is not that much of different.
