Please post your phone number and I'll give you a call. Want this done today as I'm tired of my local dealer not getting back to me. No games.

Hate to say it, but I don’t think anyone is really going to respond to your post with information. The finance managers at dealers are not monitoring this thread for opportunities.

Just do the little bit of legwork required and read the thread and find the list of dealers and names and numbers and give one or two of them at all. Most here have posted which ones are credible and the best way to reach them and you won’t get the runaround

Any dealer can sell you the MBZ extended warranty. I found Erin Mahre at Mercedes of Santa Rosa (707 521-3996) mentioned several times in the forums as giving great quotes and service. I called about an extended warranty for my '14 E 550 Cabrio. Retail was $3,150 (3 years/75k miles). Erin sold it to me for $2,185. Made some comparison calls and no one could touch it. Handled the whole thing over the phone. Pleasure to deal with.

Just purchased a CPO 2-yr extension for a GL350 from Jeff Jackson. E-mails were answered promptly and no one (who bothered to call/e-mail me back) could beat his price. A quick phone call w/ payment sealed the deal.

Hey All,

I'm purchasing a new 2017 GLS 550. I was just quoted 3 yr/75k for $2750 and 3 yr/100k for $3750. I'd like to get the extended warranty. What do you think of these quotes? This is the "it will cost you 15% more" if you don't buy it with the initial purchase situation. Also she will throw in 5 year key replacement and 5 yr dent repair which would be nice to have.

Would you take this or go elsewhere?

Thanks in advance!

Update: I negotiated my dealer down to $3,250 for the 3 yr/100k on the 2017 GLS 550, and pulled the trigger. Happy driving everyone!

Hey guys... I have a 2014 C300 Sport 4Matic with approximately 25k miles under factory warranty till Jan 2018

Looking into extended warranty I received the following quotes from Jeff Jackson at Tafael motors.

6/75 $1490
7/75 $1813
7/100 $2888

I am probably inclined towards 7/75k for $1813.. Is it a good deal ? Or should i negotiate or shop around.. Thanks..

Looks comparable to the $2,185 I got for my 2014 E550 Cabriolet. I suggest calling Erin Mahre at Mercedes of Santa Rosa (707 521-3996). She'll give you a quote in 5 minutes.

that is decent pricing and about what I paid for my C450 (when it was pricing at a C class rate, probably higher today as a C43). I'd do the 7 yr regardless for the 325$ more, it would make resale much stronger if you sell it directly. Remember, if the warranty isn't triggered you can always get a full or partial refund

Worked with the best salesman in the country (SW USA). If anyone needs a great deal, he's your guy. Straight forward and gets the deal done. When other dealerships laughed at getting any discount, he beat anyone. PM Me for INFO.

I'll fly to this dealership and pay to ship my car to another state if I had to.

2014 ML350 BlueTEC MB Extended Warranty

Best price found. Saved $800.00 off of the $4,240.00 quoted by my Florida dealer where I purchased the car. Very quick response to my voice mail. Finished the transaction in one phone call. Very professional.

I know this thread is a year old, but my car warranty is about to expire and I would like to know which dealerships still offer the best ELW price for a 2014 W 212 E class. Thanks.

This guy is incredible. Might be using him twice now. Working with him on a 3rd party warranty. You can only do Mercedes CPO for so long, then when it's done, you can't keep extending it. BUT, after you make out Mercedes CPO you can extra with a 3rd party warranty company... I will report back more later...
What I said above...

Is the MB ELW still considered the best if we take into account all the available third party warranties? Thanks

I have recently (a month ago) paid $2450 for 3rd party 3y/60000 on my 2014 E350 (~38000 miles) through dealer.
Does it make sense to look for MB ELW?
I also have 2013 ML350 (~22000 miles). It's factory warranty expired. Where to find good extended warranty? How much you paid for a similar car?

I just purchased a C43 AMG. I don't plan on keeping it past 4 years, but I'm definitely going to be going over 50k miles. Looking to get the 1yr/75k ELM for a total of 5 yrs/75k. Was quoted $1400, is this okay or should I keep looking?

you're going to give somebody $1,400 that you won't ever get back again, betting that you'll have to spend more on non-covered repairs that are not maintenance, and over just 25,000 miles and 1 year? You don't even know if the car is dead reliable or a lemon yet, right? If the car is relatively problem-free over the first 30 or 40 thousand miles, I'd say you're making a really bad bet. You should self-insure in that case. You have at least an even chance of coming out ahead by $1,400 with no out-of-pocket other than maintenance for that short period of time. Further, you have time to consider your purchase since there is no rush for you to buy this at this time until you have some experience with the car. Finally, asking us readers if it's a good price doesn't do you any definitive good. You need to quote it from some of the reputable discounting sellers that we all list in this forum for. I recommend Jeff Jackson, I have no ties to him.

The ELW is refundable, it can be cancelled if you haven't used it or refunded at a prorated cost. IMO, I like the peace of mind of not having to worry about expensive AMG repairs while it's under my ownership, especially as I've had bad experiences with expensive repairs before (looking at you BMW...) Also, the quoted price is from Jeff Jackson, he responded very quickly. I just haven't seen very many 1yr/75k prices on here so I was wondering if I was in the right ballpark or not.

Not that I am aiming to convince you just adding more information...

You can always buy the MB ELW as long as you buy it before the warranty expires. So you can take some time to see how the car performs and how long you own it.

I have a 2013 ML350 BlueTEC. The 5 yr warranty expired last August.
The mileage as of today is 49,700
The car runs beautifully but when I've heard all the horror stories here I decided that I want to have a warranty...so I went to the original dealership and they gave me a 100,000 miles/5 years warranty for $6,000
I was OK with $6,000 for 100,000 but when I heard that after 5 years the warranty will be cancelled regardless the mileage (no way I will drive 100,000 in 5 years) I was not too happy anymore, it feels like a little bit of rip-off.
I was wondering if is there a better warranty I can get (the car is still under 50,000 miles) since this one I can cancel it within 60 days with full refund if I don't have any claim.
BTW I got the warranty in Laguna Niguel, CA.
If anyone has any idea please let me know, I'll truly appreciate it.
Thank you.

Just wondering....can any Mercedes owner from any part of the country call this guy and have an extended warranty for his car?

Yes that’s correct, e.g. I purchased an extended warranty for my Porsche from Socal and I live in Norcal
