Seat bracket extenders finally installed on 17 G63
I just installed my drivers side seat bracket extenders today on my 2017 G63. Have to say they are very well made, and are the cats meow, to get near another 1 1/2 inches of leg room.
It took me about 20 mins is all.

It reminds me of the old story about the kid who had a terrible headache. His father took him to doctor after doctor with no relief.
He finally took him to a specialist who took a small hammer, tapped the kid on the head with it; and the headache was immediately gone. The specialist gave the father a bill for $10,000.00.
When the father objected and asked for an explanation, the specialist itemized the bill as follows: $100 for the office visit and for tapping the kid on the head. $9,900 for knowing exactly where to tap.

Can you clarify how this bracket adds the extra legroom?
I sold my G wagon I had these on quite a while ago to get the new model, or I would snap a bunch of photos to show you. But they simply extend the rail back towards the back seat. Everything is bolted down to it and moves on top of its sliders etc with the bracket underneath. I believe it added just a bit under 1.5 inches when I measured it at the time.
I drive my G63 extensively daily. After a year of ownership and 40,000km on the road, I have realized the seating position is giving me SERIOUS knee pain. I am just under 6ft 2" and I believe the ligament in my knee is strained.
I love the G63 but the pain is not worth it. I have a new G63 coming in 2 yrs and hear the leg room is much better. But for now, I need a solution. This product adds about 1.5inches extension. Am worried that might not be enough.
Is there a modification to achieve more extension?

I am 6 foot but longer in the legs. I found it helped a bit but not as much as I would like. Not sure what else could be done. I have a new G63 showing up in a month and I was told by my sales person that it would be much better. On the previous generation. I always thought the brake pedal was just way to high for me. Instead of messing with the seat, I wish it had factory adjustable pedals like on many new cars.
Update: I sat in a used current generation today. Leg room is way better!

Is there no way to modify or build something similar to this that can give longer extension of the seat?
I was looking at my seat today and I think one reason this product stops short at just 1.5inch extension is cause of the seatbelt pillar which the seat hits at the end f the track.
I honestly don't mind loosing a portion of the bi-pillar if I can get a longer extension. I have to drive this car for the next two years till the new one arrives.
