Hello Mbworld,
I am new to mbworld. I recently just purchased a w463 g500 and I will be doing tons of upgrades.
first upgrade I wanted to get to is the cluster. I have read on the net that, you can use the cluster from
the c class. do anyone know if this is possible??? if so how

Hi, I just got a c55 cluster with Brabus guages. Programmed for me by my buddy in Russia. Got it shipped backed to me (recieved today) electronics, speedo, etc. all works. Now im fabricating it into the G500 cluster moulding piece. Will advise in a few hours. Wish me luck

I can confirm that a w203 cluster retrofitted into the g500 housing (a lot of cutting with dremel) will work. You basically just need to cut out the guage face. If you have someone to program the cluster for mileage, eprom etc. Total parts cost should be about a $150-200 plus labour for programming and then your time for doing the retro fit. I can post some pics later today if anyone is interested.

I am about to do the same to mine right now , wish me luck! How did you put it back together after cutting, Epoxy?

Not sure is this thread is still alive, I recently purchased a ( C55 AMG ) cluster W203, I guess we need to retrofit the gauges as the C55 W203 cluster top sticks out of the top edge of the dash. ( does this sound right )? Also, getting a reading not the c55 cluster ( as soon as I turned on the car, is says shut down engine coolant ) Since, it shows that message, I found on google says something about the C class coolant reading map is not compatible to the G500 class. BTW the C55 cluster is from 05, and G500 is 05 grand edition. Any advice anyone ?
