Pictures of Olive green in different lighting.
Can look almost black in low light while it really pops in direct sunlight. Color on the same panel looks different depending how light is hitting it. Really happy I went with this color. Don't expect it will be all that common of a choice. Ended up going with the silver calipers as I thought that would blend better with the Olive.

I *love* this color. With the 2020's already being $5k more I'm really struggling to justify the $6500 extra it costs - but.... still, wow
Thanks for posting the pictures!

Wow, that looks great!
I am eagerly waiting for the arrival of our Olive Green G63 (was built on 9/18)
This just confirms that we picked the right color.

@NOPDK - what interior did you get? Can you share pictures?
Definitely experiencing the cabin pressurization/ear popping issue that others have described when the a/c is at a high fan speed. Cabin is sealed amazingly air tight. Have to run a/c on recirculation or crack sunroof for it to be bearable. Hopefully they figure out a fix to this. Otherwise it is an absolute blast to drive. This is my first non-sports car or sporty coupe and I find the G63 surprisingly fun to drive. Amazed how reasonably it handles given how huge and high it is. Will never be a GT4 in that department BUT it is engaging and has personality. Trying to get through my break-in miles so can can see how sports plus feels and really open it up.
Olive was a calculated risk for me. Was nervous to order a color site unseen especially at the premium they want for this color. didn't want they typical black/white/silver and vintage Defenders and Jeeps always looked great in dark green so I took the leap. Was worried it would be too green for me like emerald is but was really happy when I finally saw it at delivery. I think the olive with silver calipers and the 22's looks classy and works with a big boxy SUV. If I didn't do this color was going with Platinum Magno or Black Magno. Both of which I think are cool colors as well. I've seen black magno in person and it looks great. Wasn't sure how it would do with water marks and showing dirt and since this is a daily driver didn't want a color that only looked clean once a week. So far the Olive hasn't been washed in 10 days and has been in the rain and still looks great.

Thanks! This is my first Benz, so I’ve got limited frame of reference for interior. I’m really tempted by the cream (espresso / macchiato) interior, but I’m concerned it’d be too light. I’m with you on the shiny interiors - I had the carbon fiber in my X6M and, while it looked super cool, it could get tough in the lower sun.
I think you sold me on the olive green though.....

Great Color!! I currently have Olive Green Magno on order. I go back and forth with this color, but come back to the matte each time. Thanks for posting these pictures!

That’s a great post!! Extremely useful.. a question did you also look at the Emerald Green? If so how did it compare? And are you happy with the chosen colour?

After living with Olive for a bit I'm really happy with it. It's a great shade of green. Personally prefer on cloudy days when it is darker. I've seen Emerald green on an S class but never on a G in person. That is a much brighter green. For me I think it would be too much but don't doubt G would look good in it. I went back and forth with colors and almost did Magno Black or Grey. The Olive gives the G a classy and has a more understated look. Looks unique and have had good reaction to the color. Olive is definitely a guy color. Men love it and the ladies seem to favor white. The Magno Black and Grey look awesome as well but make it more sporty. Neither is better, just different. Dark green has always been a great color for boxy SUV's. hope this helps. New G really is awesome.
thanks!! Appreciate the response :-)

Saddle would work great with Olive IMO. I'm happy with my black designo interior with the Olive paint. Either way works. Go with whichever interior color you prefer.
