I upgraded my 7 inch factory display in my G63 to the 10.25” Android display today and thought I should share. The factory displays in the gwagons are so small and outdated.
overall I love it. Gives the car interior a new aura.
the built in UI resembles MBUX. It comes with built in WiFi. Steering wheel controls work
I now have Apple car play etc. The screen is very responsive with high resolution quality
i am also selling my Factory AMG grille, AMG brush guard and AMG rear bumper if anyone else is interested.
Looks like it'siDMP. What state are you in? What cellular carrier is your WiFi connected to,? Did the SIM have to be changed, if so, was it easy?
I am NYC. Sorry when I said built in WiFi I meant it has built in WiFi antennas and you can use hotspot from your phone to connect to it.
it does have a cellular sim slot in the back. Not sure if it will work with American cellular sims

Good it has a SIM slot. I saw this DMP facelift style that said they had 4G LTE antenna and from what I know, if you can get a SIM put in with the device ID, you can activate a wifi plan on your account. Thanks for the info. That helps a lot!

I saw one on this site DTP car design. It has Apple car play. That's what I'm gonna order. I've been chatting with them and it has a lot that I would like. I wanted to have the '12+ face-lift since I have an '11 plus some additional fuctionality and adding a wifi plan makes it all worth it to me. Since it's android. I can add my XM radio app and scale down on my XM plan and also steeam the other music apps as well as YouTube.
I ordered the screen and they pulled it a week later and sent me a refund after they had some issues with the harness. Spoke to them last night and they will let me know once those things are ironed out.

I finally reordered mine Monday from DMP Car Design. It mount on the top in that space that looks like a speaker vent or air duct on top of the dash. I will have to connect to the AUX that's in the glove box. It won't take the place of the factory unit but will have the entertainment features like YouTube , Netflix etc. The Aux is for sound. The back up camera and that stuff will work thru the main unit. I'll try to post pics when I get it installed

In the post I was saying that I bought it from DMP Car Design. Go on the website and you'll see everything you need. They even replies to Facebook inbox and WhatsApp . Tell them you got the info from this guy with a White 12' in Atlanta and they'll know what you're talking about. They have pics on the site. The pic I added in this thread is from their page. I don't have my unit yet. It's being shipped today or tomorrow.

@Kwesi400 thanks for the link as I ordered and literally got the item in 4 days to Orlando. Shipped DHL from China or Japan. Better than paying $799 on eBay.
