Hay all,

it just used to be intermittent, but now is permanent. Turning on and off the ignition ain’t helpful- faulty code is still here.

checked the fuse box by the driver side- all seemed to be okay.

Big socket by the ABS pump- all the pins are clear and seems to be okay. Plug and socket looks good.

Any other ideas where to look?

(patient: G 55 AMG 2011)

With DTCs reported as communications faults and now no speedo, I'd inspect for wiring damage. Any evidence of rodents snacking?

hey, thanks for the hint.

No, no evidence of such a thing.

Also yesterday after a bit of a drive, problem is gone. Car repaired itself.

LOL

Dials started to bip. I Stopped on a side, turned off the engine, started again- no faulty codes on a cluster dash. Everything works ok.

But am pretty sure it’s gonna come up again…

Dear friend, I am having the exact same issues/faults on my ‘11 g55amg.
Neither dealer or specialist shop could figure it out yet. Did you have any luck finding the solution?
thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for the fast return and help!

Unfortunately, we already replaced it a few months ago ($$$), but issue came back! Maybe some short circuit or bad wiring?
You repaired only the module itself and after that, all clear?
Can you please share the contact of the place where you fixed yours?

thanks again!

I am located in Brazil, so pretty used to get parts and services overseas LoL

When the car starts, usually AAS “consult workshop” appears and sometimes the engine fan starts working even when the car is still warming up.
Some days only these two happen and on other days I have several warnings such as yours (ABS, ESP, speedtronic, brake distribution, display malfuncion, check engine light)….pics below.
Dealer suggested the ABS module replacement but still the same issues. Now they are thinking about sending a support request to the factory.

Strange (and good) update but, researching, found out that there were cases about key communication failure. I switched to spare key (brand new) and no more errors! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 one month daily driving it and zero warnings so far….
