Kleeman SuperCharger Expirences ?!?!
Hello all. I was reading the new issue of Car & Driver where they had some Kleeman Supercharged Mercedes that they had reviewed. This got me thinking about maybe inquiring about supercharging my CL55 . In the review C&D mentioned that Kleeman is working on the idea of providing a Warranty for what will be lost through Mercedes when Kleeman start to mess with the engine. If this is true, that would be a great advantage for Kleeman. Anyone have any info on this ?
Randall, if you are reading this I see that your E-Class is Kleeman supercharged. Maybe you can shed some light on this here....

Kleeman Superchargers
Adam, I have ridden in Latrell Sprewell's CLK55 with the Kleeman Supercharger installed (cost circa 15k). The car was a beast (sorry Drew). The GM over there took me for several runs and unfortunately it was a busy time of the day but we got up to 100 MPH incredibly fast until we saw a cop on a side street coming out and we had to brake hard. The car pulls at all speeds and I can definitely say it blows away my E55 (no slouch)

I called the rep at Kleeman and do know that their supercharger will void the MBZ factory powertrain warranty but they then add on a 1 year warranty of their own. This may have changed since the last time I checked.

Probably low to mid 4's in the 0-60 times and sub 13 second quarters. This car was truly scary. I mean I have never had to grag onto the "Oh Sh..t Handle" like I did in this thing. Maybe it was because we were on a street with a ton of cars.

Sounds sweet. I like that "Oh Sh*t" geab handle. Now I need to own a tire co. to replace all that rubber that will end up on the road.

Kleeman in Los Angeles...
Guys: not sure if I told you this, but we've asked Kleeman to come down to Willow Springs on Friday, Nov. 23 (they will also be at Willow Sunday, Nov. 25 for Euro Tunerfest). Come up to get a ride in the car to see for yourself. They'll have their E-Class and CLK-Class there. On Sunday, they will also have the CLK55.

Hey Simon, what other events will be going on at willow springs on the 23 besides the Kleemann being there? Is it open to anybody? I can't come on the 25th, but I might be able to make it on Friday the 23rd.

Nov. 23 (Friday) is a track day. The Beverly Hills Motorsport Club (mostly Ferraris) will be there and I am an instructor for them. I asked Kleeman to come out that day to show off their cars as I'm very interested in testing out the power and in becoming a Kleeman dealer (EvoSport). Email me for more info: simon@evosport.com
