GL450 X164 few upgrades with Part Numbers

I looked into putting in the lighted sills in my GL320 a while back. I pried up the original sill and poked around underneath and did not find any readily available electrical connection for the lighted sill. Seems like I read another thread where a guy was trying to install some aftermarket lighted sills, and he was having to dig into a harness and splice into the appropriate wire.

Problem solved.
Got WIS/ASRA,and figure out CAN bus.It’s all about SAM control module.
Works fine to my vehicles (W212 & W246).
After checking CAN bus of 164GL.
I’m pretty sure CAN 30/4 will work.

For chrome cross bars look at Post 9, include keys
For Carpets look at post 15, still almost in the same condition !
For black cross bars you may know how they are, I order it before the chrome but never installed, collecting dust in my garage.

This will be a good one, I try to research about trunk liners, carpets or wherever for a good protection (spill, stains), well, I check several liners, included mb cargo liner, Husky, whethertech, can't remember PN but when you fold the 3rd row seats the carpet/back of the seats are unprotected, so I order The Genuine MB cargo tray PN BQ 6 75 0038 most dealers don't know anything about this tray, also, you can not order this tray at any website (at this time). my resourse was ebay from a seller that just sell genuine MB parts, they are MB dealers. Carpet have velcro that attach to the carpet. I will say best Cargo liner you can get. Tray is chemically resistant. The good Genuine MB part. Before I order this cargo I look everywhere for more pictures.... nothing. For this reason I just try to help the GL X164 comunity with pictures (maybe you are in the same boat), you will have all info in one thread.

Looks good. This is why I just went ahead and opted for the 550 so I could get all this stuff included. I would have screwed something up trying to put something on. Haha
