Airmatic failure. C15561C The compressed air sensor has a malfunction

Starting a new thread from this one

After dealer replaced two airbags, this code started popping up C15561C

After clearing the codes, it is still popping up.

Ran all airmatic tests they are fine, here is the only thing that is not normal

I already paid 1600 to dealer in Canada. Would you recommend to go to my local dealer? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks.

Pressure sensor is part of the valve block, looks like you need a new one.

I'm just wondering what makes you think that this error code C15561C indicates problem with the pressure sensor in the valve block?
This error popped up right after they replaced two airbags. What if something was improperly installed?

Like stated above:
either you have failure of the sensor, or wiring to it is damaged.
Just did one W166 AMG63 with same error, but there was wire damage under bonet (Fire, burnt cables) and guy who revired it, switched two gray wires with in place (one for front left strut and another for sensor). After fixing (switching back) all works fine now.

On the begining of my work on AMG63 W166, had same error as you with 35 Bars showing + fault for left front strut valve. So, check 3 PIN connector directly on the VALVE block for that sensor.......

Under the right front headlight basically. Remove right front wheel and front section of fender liner, you will see the compressor and valve block unit. The pressure sensor is integral to the valve block unit or the compressor, I don't recall which one exactly. I'll check on star wiring and update tomorrow if needed.

As above, check wiring. The actual value being so high is false, either the sensor is failed or the wiring is damaged. It's possible you didn't need bags or this could just be a coincidence. If the system is faulted badly enough, it won't pump up or lower correctly.

Normal working pressure is about 16 bar.

MB Service advisor told me that two bags were leaking badly. Could he be lying? As far as I understand they were not supposed to touch anything in the front. How this wire or sensor could get damaged? What are the chances that all of the sudden sensor started failing after bag replacement?

Not sure what you're looking for here. I can't diagnose the car over the internet. At this point you need to figure out what's wrong, then play the blame game later.
