Start/Stop in Winter
Hi,
Couldn't find this in the manual, but does the Start/Stop system stop working under a certain temperature? It was -14C here yesterday and it seemed to not work.

I don't expect it is directly linked to the ambient temperature as much as the engine temp (among other factors ) , but of course the low temperature you are having will affect the engine temp.

It can be related to temperature in that if it is cold you are more likely to be draining power from battery to run heated seats etc and it is related to the battery charge amongst other things.

In my '17 GLC 4M USA spec I have noticed the "stop/start" function seems to be disabled until things have warmed up enough for the heater to start blowing warm air; nice!

I had not noticed that since I have created my own settings which I use each time I drive. That is great info. Thank you!

The Stop/Start certainly stops working in high temperatures when the air conditioning needs to keep running.
