Question NOOB Questions about media in GLC

Hi guys

Am currently looking at second hand GLCs and one of the things I am obsessing about - which I probably shouldn't be - is the COMAND/Audio side of things. I'm a geek coming from a 2009 Audi Q5 which has a basic multimedia setup.

Assuming I find a GLC with the Premium Plus pack, some basic questions if I may...

-- Is there a USB port for me to plug my iPhone into so I can select music from the COMAND system? Is it robust and where is it located? Does it supply a good charge to an iPhone also?

-- Can it stream music over BT without intermittent skips and gaps?

-- Can I search for music on Spotify over the COMAND system?

-- Does the DAB radio piggy back off your phone's internet connection?

-- Whats the standard hard drive capacity and how do you load music onto it? Via USB transfer?

-- Can the system play FLAC or AIFF files?

-- How well integrated is Apple's Siri in the car? For example, if I say "Hey siri" will it cut the music and let Siri take my command, i.e.: call mum?

Cheers in advance

1. There are two located in the center storage console. Not sure on the charge output, maybe .5 amp.

2. Yes. Plays without skips and gaps.

3. Not sure, think you have to search Spotify on the handset.

4. Not in the US.

5. Not sure off hand on the HDD size, I use a 128GB SD card. I think you can transfer files via CD, DVD, USB or SD cards.

6. No, you can use MP3, WMA, CDA, AAC formats (.aac, .mp4, .m4a and .m4b)

7. Siri won't work unless you use a BT button like this one,
Satechi Bluetooth Button Series (Home Button) for iPhone 6 Plus/6/5S/5C Satechi Bluetooth Button Series (Home Button) for iPhone 6 Plus/6/5S/5C

Thanks!

Cant believe you need to buy a BT button to get Siri to kick in. Seems like a massive oversight

Very very slow
If you hold down the "talk" button on the steering wheel for about 3 seconds, it will activate the Siri on your phone.
It will cut the music and start taking your commands.

Guess I didn't hold the button long enough, works like a champ!

right to be forgotten
And besides that when you press the button briefly you can just say CALL [NAME] no need for Siri

PS DAB is broadcast not packet switched, it doesn't use your phone, it uses an aerial.
