Has anyone else turned their car off, exited the car, locked the door and then had the radio come back on inside? It took me several restarts and shut downs to get it to stop. On the first two attempted restarts my screen was totally blank no matter what buttons I pushed and the backup camera didn't show up when I put the car in reverse.

This is a 2017 GLC300

You are whining in the wrong place. Visit any dealer to get the issue diagnosed and repaired!

Thanks boss but I'm a step ahead of you. I am still interested in knowing if anyone else has encountered this or a similar issue?

I think he is trying to get help off someone on the forum who has had the issue and knows the solution, I may be wrong but I thought that was what the forum was for..

The OP says he drives a "This is a 2017 GLC300", to me that's a new car still under warrantee---what owner wouldn't take the car to a dealer unless the OP is a middle school student or the car is stolen.


Plus after reading all this, all I see is one suggestion in post 2 and the rest of the posts are whiners without any suggestions, this is not s dating forum!--what is poster 4,5 and 6 suggestion?

When I have command issues, trying resetting the command system by holding in the CD eject button for 10 seconds. Generally helps ... for a couple of days

All GLC'S are still under warranty at least in the UK, we might as well close the forum until cars come out of warranty.

I didn't see any advice from you Plutoe, just a whine.

I didn't know about resetting with the eject button. Good tip!

Got my GLC back from the dealership and they didn't find any error codes but did update software on the stereo head unit. I will reply back if it happens again.

Blutoe is helpful on some posts because he is very adept at WIS digging - and to his credit he has helped several in the older sedan forums

Blutoe can correct me if I am wrong - but he has NEVER owned a Mercedes SUV - ever.

I believe is scans fresh post list on the forum - and see where maybe he is needed - and when he reads the post and it does not relate to WIS - often he can get edgy - but heck I get edgy too on my own sometime..
