Took delivery of a brand new GLC300 2019. Huge windshield distortions (waves). Made me so nauseous I could not drive it off the dealer's lot. They offered to replace windshield. Dealer loaned me another new GLC300 2019 while they fix my new car. Same problem on the loaner to a lesser degree but still!!!! Any body else have this???

This is a common problem for just about any car mkw. To wit, go to youtube and search for "Windshield distortion" . You don't have to watch any of the vids just note the number of hits. Personally I'd say that if you didn't drive it off the lot, then you didn't take delivery and thus, you can just get your money back. I'd also severely question the quality of the dealership in this case since they billed you $900.00 for delivery services and tried to foist this off on you. You may also want to open ticket with MB USA.

Much overreaction. Point out to dealer staff the imperfection. Likely they will send vehicle to an automobile specialty glass shop for windscreen replacement.

Recall that in the two+ years have been on this website there have been two complaints of windscreen distortion.

The new ones are built in Finland I think, and yes I know this issue, it was very noticeable for me on the B class, so much so that I could not drive it either. My thoughts are that the screens are sloped so much on cars that it makes it very dangerous to clearly see things at times. I have noticed this on several brands and is a deal killer on the spot. Better attention needs to be given by all here, maybe a "rake" needs to be figured out, but if the designers drove them they would see it as well.

Lucky for me on my 2019 it is not an issue for me!

Hey I have the same exact problem with my GLC 2020. it seems to be an issue for only the driver's side for me maybe it has to do with the curvature of the glass or something else. Please let me know if you've resolved this issue and how so because I'm trying to solve mine but I just decided to leave my car at the dealership since when they said it was fixed it wasn't.

Hi we’ve just purchased a 2019 GLC and noticed after about 10 days now the nauseating feeling we are getting when driving around in it ! When you look sideways on at the front screen you can actually see waves in the windshield. Spoken to the dealership and they say nothing we can do about it you will have to sell the cat or get used to it !!
