Just purchased a 25 GLC 63 hope i dont regret it

I had to lemon law my 2023 GLC300. I actually was able to receive a check for $11000 MORE than I paid for it and they offered me 7% off the 63 and it was black on black just like I wanted, so i ended up buying the damn thing.

i guess if MB still has **** quality on this, i could always use the lemon law again lol

2021 AMG GLC43
I really like the new look and the performance is very good.
Time will tell how the reliability is on these new high HP 4’s

Congrats on the new 63!

You know, I don't really know yet beyond the test drive. I only have 27 miles on it since I bought it, went straight into rush hour traffic, got home took a few pics and then about 2 hours later, it started dumping snow, and hasn't let up since, so I probably won't be driving it until at least monday, maybe later since the tires on it stock are no good for snow. I did put it in race mode and floor it a couple times , and the acceleration is pretty awesome for an SUV. It doesn't have quite the feedback of an ICE, but it is way less "numb" feeling than a full-on SUV, so I think it's a good middle ground, as long as it doesn't blow up on me in a year or so.

I wish the dealer had optioned it a little differently (I would rather have the nappa leather because I like "smooth" seats because they are easier to clean than the microfiber/sued-like surfaces this has, and I don't care about the $1,700 night plus package or whatever it's called. They also padded it with BS like AMG gas cap and sill protectors, which I would rather have allocated to the better seats. I also would have added the dashcam and extra USB outlets. It has the pinnacle package, driver assistance package, upgraded 20" wheels, heated rear seats and a couple other things, so it is pretty close to how I would spec it and I couldn't get a discount on a custom order, so I took this one.

I like the optimism of a new MB owner…” I can always lemon it.”

Nice looking AMG.

I mean, look at some of the threads on the newer models people complaining and getting stranded and screwed over, but don't do anything about it. If you use the lemon law to your advantage, you can turn a nightmare into a benefit if things go south. Crazy how many people don't take advantage when they should. I've had to lemon a few cars, actually, not just a MB.

Interesting you already engaged race mode, curious, are you planning to break-in?

Yes that is correct, it is one of the conditions: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-c43-a...rformance.html

I mean, should break-in a new engine anyways so not a bad idea for MB to limit it.
