I been watching all the 2020 GLE video on youtube, I don't see any of them have bigger brake setup. I mean other than the caliper with Mercedes-Benz lettering on it, I don't see the bigger brake set up. I have a funny feeling about this only European market will get it. The most we going to get is the Mercedes lettering brake set up.
from your post of #1500 that wheel option is a 22" option. In NA we don't even have that option yet.

The vehicles in videos so far are mostly from the San Antonio US press event, which obviously had some options not available in the US (so did the LA Auto Show US launch), so it's confusing. I still think the large wheel requirement in the US DOG for E-ABC has to mean bigger brakes. I have sent a query to MBUSA and will report back on their response.
Update 12/26: MBUSA deferred to the dealer for information.

Thanks ! I did seen a video with bigger caliper in one of the video and it seems like its on the 400d. And the white color GLE showing off its E active body control is also with bigger brake and its a 400d.
Car to X Communication debuted on the 2017 E. My E450 has it and it works well. As cars ahead of you equipped with the system encounter traffic issues, it is communicate to the other cars in the vicinity. It's MB's answer to Waze.
Good article from Engadget. He concludes with this comment:

Okay, I'm continuing to question my assertion that the E-ABC package in the US will come with the large fixed caliper brakes shown in some photos/videos. On the German site there are two options for E-ABC (prices w/o VAT):
E-Active Body Control, €6,500
Technology Package, €10,710
The €4,210 difference between the two is a lot just for non-ceramic brakes, but not out of the question. On many options our US prices in $ is roughly equivalent to Euro prices in €, so at $8,100 our E-ABC package falls between the two in cost. Frankly, I'm more pessimistic that our package includes the brakes, but if it doesn't, why it would require larger wheels is the puzzler!
Edit 1/5/19: See post #1842. US does not get the largest brakes with the E-ABC package.

I really hope we are getting the better brake set up. It just seems that Europe also has better options than NA market. But since this car is made in USA, I wish we will be better equipped this time.

It’s true they get better options because almost everything is optional. The end result is they pay way more, even before the high taxes. Which let’s me gloat on the fact we have no sales tax here (believe me, they get us in other ways).

Greg, Are you saying Oregon doesn't charge sales tax on vehicle purchases? It's 6% in PA (9% on monthly leases). Of course we only pay sales tax on the difference when trading in a car that you previously paid sales tax.

We don’t have sales tax on anything. Now income tax!

Optioning the AMG Exterior Line Package (DG1PKG, $3,250 on the GLE 450) gives you painted wheel arches, different wheels and other exterior changes. You cannot just delete the wheel arches.

Not clear - There is no leather dash option, only the MB-Tex synthetic leather (U09) that is actually a requirement with the MBUX Technology Package. I have not seen any published restriction on U09, but the NetStar ordering system does have some bugs still.
