GLE 450 issues?

The recent TSB updates seem to have helped but I haven’t been on a road trip to test. They also disconnected the 12 Volt battery and that probably cleared the system like a reboot on a computer. There are numerous computers (control units) and some functions overlap creating an environment for issues like software conflicts.

- woke up to find the headlights (just the headlights) on early last Sat morning.
It was parked outdoors overnight (roadtrip) - saw the glow as I approached it (was still dark) - remotely unlocked / locked w/ the key fob - they went off
Somewhat concerned about this - don't know how long they were on of if they even went off the night before - don't want to be stranded w/ a dead battery - had no audio on the evening commute - no radio, nav, assistant, phone - nothing. Everything else was normal but silence.
Soft reset (exit, arm, disarm) fixed it

I once accidentally rotated mine with my knee upon exiting the vehicle. It turned out (pun intended) the parking light was switched on. It took me a minute or two to figure that one out.
- Hand-free trunk opening only works sometimes
- Keyless door unlock (or whatever they called it) also works sporadically
- MBUX would sometimes slow down, get choppy, and display error messages that then disappear, when redoing the same action right away
- Album art from Spotify randomly doesn't show when streaming via Bluetooth
- Voice assistant activates at times even though I never said "Mercedes" - they should really rethink the key word on this
The ventilated seats are a bit of a letdown, I had much better performance on my KIA before.
- turned off the HUD for about 30 min to enjoy the fall colours w/o distractions - distronic was on at the time
- the speedometer section was blank when it was turned on later (same trip)
- checked settings to make sure it wasn't accidentally disabled by accidental contact w/ the right steering wheel trackpad - it wasn't
- flipped on / off a few times no dice, the speedo panel remained blank
- after a while the large 'hands-on-steering wheel' graphic appeared in the panel, when it disappeared the speedometer came back

Seems like a redraw bug - the speedo was probably going to be replaced w/ the 'hands-on' warning when the HUD was turned off.
When it was turned back on I'm guessing there was persistent state that flagged it as still hidden. This state was reset when the 'hands-on' warning appeared/disappeared.
Software...
- turn on the HUD
- enable distronic
- wait for the large 'hands-on-steering' graphic which replaces the speedo/distronic graphics to appear
- disable the HUD
- turn on the HUD the speedo/distronic graphics will be missing until the large 'hands-on-steering' graphic reappears then disappears

The only way this could have happened I think would be that I somehow pressed the remote control for too long and it activated it.
There's no other explanation unless the software is bugging out and the vehicle operates itself...

- car parked outside for the evening, about 2c for the duration of a dinner party until about 1am
- left the left park lights on, remote started the car with the app about 5min before leaving (1st time trying this)
= car sounded louder than I remember as we approached, switched off on unlock/entry
= drivers seat and steering wheel had moved into a random position
= got a burst of error/warning dialogs, 3 or 4 I think(SRS inactive, 4Matic inactive - don't remember the others - happened fast), all indicators on the dash appeared to be lit, no READY light, engine not running
- hit the start button (again), engine started - short drive home, can't say if engine felt normal or not
= blank screen while reversing into garage - could hear the proximity sensors but no camera video or graphics
= soft reset (engine stop -> open/close drivers door -> engine start) and parking assist started working again
- car parked in office underground parking all day
= AC started up full blast cold - all zones seemed to have been spontaneously set to LOW
- manually restored setting to 22c, operation normal afterwards
