Did you get it done at the Maple mercedes-benz location (on jane?) I was there about a week and a half back and saw a car with those handles and instantly noticed it. I will be picking up my white GLK tomorrow and will definiteily be doing the same

Good choice.

Cool can't help to notice

...thanks for the pixs...
just curious as to why there is a 'best before' date stamp on the product label? Are they changing the style after this date?

I would think its for the sticking tape to keep its freshness.

+1,

not digging the cups or the fog light surrounds, too much fake chrome for me, but to each his own.

Don't know what do you mean 'fake'. Then all chrome are fake, including your tri-star emblem. But yes, the amount of chrome is up to the color of the car and everyone's different taste.

yea it is fake, that's why I said adding more is too much for me. Just personal opinion, I don't like too much chrome (fake or not) on any car.

It's just the thought of sticking overpriced plastic pieces with double sided tape on an MB that keeps me away from doing this. My fiance's dad did this to his new dodge truck, but that thing needed some extra parts to look finished, imo GLK doesn't. Again just personal opinion, I don't think it looks bad, I just don't think it looks any better.

I knew your point and agreed that taste for look is very personal. But just want to help you not get 'turned off' by double sided tape, as its a common method for external trim in modern cars. I think even your tri-star is double sided taped.

$h!t, then I'm gonna go rip it off as well as GLK350 and 4 Matic in the back hahaha JK

but whose dealer tried to live a sticky on the their cars? I was like no free floor mats no free advertisement. What was intereting is that guy came out with a spray that took that thing off in a minute (...so that's how they debadge cars) I always wondered how it's done besides hairdryer and dental floss.

that's cause you care about your car, so you take your time and heat/floss. that spray is like CLR, very abrasive.
