Not sure what to put into the GLK as the K40 Rl360 is is about a grand less if I was to go with the interface to control the unit throught the car cluster and steering wheel. Any one have and recomendations on either unit and has anyone used this itnterface?

I am currently driving with the new K40 radar detector the RL360 and I can contest, it is the best radar I have drivin with to date. The performance combined with there new GPS features make it a very impressive radar. Unlike the 9500ci it comes with a radar in the rear to let me know where the LEO is coming from and I only see it when I need it, not like the 9500ci which they have to put a display and control head somewhere inside your vehicle.

I concour, I bought my RL360 based on the feedback in this forum and the videos I watch on there youtube channel. It is as advertised.

I am wondering how the K40 is a grand less than the escort 9500ci? retail installed of the 9500 is $2k, and that would make the RL360 $1k which I seen at 3 different dealerships for over $2k which included the ex2 laser defusers.

So I am confused here

It is a great system that is very stealth. The labor anyone on the 9500ci was what was making up the difference in price and to get the stealth like install the shop wanted $475 for thr midcity interface to hide it way as well as way more wiring. I was able to get he RL 360 in for 1650 with the from laser.

over the calabre that I had in my other car. I have been able to pick up fixed radar at about double the range I was able to get with the old system. They were able to tap into the turn signal indicators so they are still green when turn signal and then go blue when the radar is picked up on
