GLS is produced in the usa, if you are in the usa, then it should be pretty quick. Is 2026 officially open for orders though?

Two dealers told me they are able to put orders for 2026. They have the order guide for 2026 as well. Placed mine today.

placed an order as well, the first two slots they had were for August 11 and August 12 to start production, so we took the first one. They said that’s roughly the timeline for all the new GLS. We did order the 63 so it might be different for the others, but it seemed like that was for all of them. They said roughly 4 weeks after that would be the earliest you would probably see them delivered

By this time of year, MB is typically on the second or third revision of the DOGs. Pardon if they're here somewhere, but I've been looking for awhile now and have not been successful finding them. I'm personally interested in the MY26 GLS 580. I'm confident they'll eventually be posted.

2024 GLS 580
Funny I just started looking at the GLS, and 2 dealers both told me that I should buy the '25 since no one knows what the tariff prices would look like. I guess I wont be buying from them. I get it, they want to get rid of inventory, so why not just say the prices are better for new "leftover" 25's ? Are they wrong about tariffs affecting MY 26 ? Also is there a general percentage off sticker prices? I haven't had a MB in almost 10 years, I kind of remember around 7-8% off back when I was buying them regularly.
Thanks for any insight.

I had read that Mercedes was going to eat the difference caused by the tariff hike. Anyone else remember the same?

I saw that somewhere.
I'd probably buy now, because next year's car will likely have another six dozen Stars placed in unexpected places. Kinda getting tired of Stars....

One reason of many I went with a MY25 GLS63 rather than wait for MY26, the facelift (whether it comes for 26 or 27) has the star taillights for sure which I don't like personally

For those that have placed an order for a 2026 model do you have any information or details on what the changes will be the 26 model? I've heard rumors about updated headlights and taillights and may an updated screen with more physical button.
Did the dealers can you any information on this?

I'm looking to get a new GLS and would wait if their are changes with the 26 model. If there are no major changes, I'd rather not wait and get the 25.

There is no major changes (I think 1-2 color changes?). Same look, features, etc. no updated lights. No change in screen. You should be able to get 2026 order guide from dealer (I got one from dealer for 2026 about a month back but I don’t have it any more).

Production for 2026 starts end of this month.
The change in lights you see online rumors I think are for 2027.
