E350 vs M3
OK I know what the facts are, the M is faster! That of course is not the point of my thread so here is the story...
I am driving on I-5 and see a black 3 series peaking it's head repeatedly around a semi trying to find an opening to pass and seize up the suprised competion when he blows by! Reminded me of a child playing peak a boo!
He finally makes a break and it turns out to be a nicely cleaned and darkly tinted M3. There was a good amount of traffic so a straight line power for power race was not possible. Instead we did a little weaving and shooting of sizeable gaps for a few miles. He then breaks through an opening that was quickly closing and at entry was about 2 feet bigger than his car. I of course let off and saw him speed away.
From there I took some initiative to sneak up behind over the next few miles of heavy traffic. I saw my exit come and go but at this point the chase was on and my heart was beating so I had to put Nordstroms on hold!
Coming into an area of turns and bridges I shoot by and leave him no where to go. He tries to use the M POWER to no avail as my cunning has put him in a place where power is useless and he has no gap to get through. A split approaches and he gives me a beep in defeat and turns off to buy another Dinan mod and maybe some new struts as a base 350 just showed him what driving is all about!
