well I'd say even more...... The MTM s/c kit for the 4.2L V8 audis cost about 15K before labor.

A stripped interior, RWD, race gas, slicks, cammed car is hardly an example considering stock turbos are good for what, high teens or low, low 120s with a seriously reduced lifespan?

It will be very rare to find an Evo that will beat a C63, let alone on 91 Octane.

It would be cheaper to swap in the old RS6 4.2 TT motor in there than actually turbo charging the N/A motor in the S5.

With my CLK500 I had a whole library of kills. Check through this kill section and I've probably written dozens of stories and posted up plenty of vids.

And still get beat by a big turbo Evo that spent 1/4th the money you did

Some of my kills: A few stage 3 B5 S4's, two modded RS6's, C6 vette with just intake/exhaust, CL65, SL65, C32, E63, M5, M6, M3, some 996TT's, an old Saleen mustang, a few evo's with stock turbos, a few STI's, stock turbo supra, a chipped 335i, Maxima LOL, and others I just cant think of.

Losses: modded CL600, Evo (2.3L GT35R wheel, lightweight, with all bolt ons), bunch of race cars at the track.

That blue A4 has GT28's on that motor. Comfortably you can see 800 crank if not more.

I don't drive, but I remember a few years ago when our X5 beat a Blazer and Sable. My mom and I were waiting at a light when these two teens drove up and I heard they talking about a race. Told my mom to punch it, and we beat both by at least 1 car until we hit 60 MPH (mom didn't want to speed, limit was 45.) The two then turned off the road and I saw them talking.

Toyota Supra racing a Porsche 4s - I was behind them both, light turned green and as the Porsched went past the Supra I shot in the hole in front of the supra pulled up next to the Porsche, waved and smoked him.
Subaru Outback - in his defense he had a load full of people in the back, probably made him too heavy. Smoked him anyway!

Yeah, not too hardcore, for sure, but kills nonetheless.
