Information that I have gained from this thread:

A. Jon's an idiot.

RS4's are one of the best looking sedans on the road. Subtle, elegant, and refined. They're are an absolute blast to drive in the twisties and their interior is bar none, the sexiest to enter a German sedan. People don't buy RS4's because they're fast in a straight line, common sense would tell you that. This leads me to believe Jon lacks common sense.

TwentyValveB5, I love your RS4. I was actually trying to find an Ibis White before I bought my E55. The difference in price led me to pick the latter.

It really required this thread to prove that point?

Thanks I wonder if Jon will ever get a clue, or if he just likes being the "1" in "1 vs. 100"

There are some popping up in the mid-$40k now used or CPO'd. At $70k+ it's tough to stomach, but for $30k less -- it's a bargain.

Although, after 5000 miles my DRC system already needs to be replaced. Audi really needs to figure this one out ASAP.

Ya, it was fun! Damn, I was getting killed on the launches though. Your RS4 must have jumped me by 3 CLs before I hooked up. The track was so slippery that on one run I went slideways at 60 MPH as my car hit the top of the powerband in second gear. Scary stuff.

You should have run the Lambo. I think that it would have been very close, as you obviously know how to drive your car and his launches were pretty slow considering that he has AWD.

I also got beat pretty bad by a Challenger SRT-8. Again, he just killed me on the launch, and there is not much room to play catch-up in the 1/8 mile.
