ok if your racing something non-german don't start at zero. Sayra (Drive next to them) around 40KMH...Thats how I kill alot of cars like Maximas or GS300's. Also before you start set the gear to N then Back to D so you reset the gears (Ta'7ri6 il gayr). The German car never loses acceleration whil Japanese cars start to lose it around 2nd or 3rd. Once in a S320 we beat a GS300 by 1 lamp length. (Bout 2cars and 1/2). A Camry can beat you but once you get to 60 you would begin gaining up. Pajero's are little ***** boxes check your car if he beat you.

yesterday a girl in a dark red (old) CLK was behind me. we were waiting in the traffic light.

when the signal turned green I started driving and saw her speeding and coming to my right. So I floored it. but with no luck. She easily came on my right and killed me big time.

her car was CLK 230K.

I think that sums this thread up.

You drive a 3400 lb car with what 170 hp? You have C200K, not a C230K, therefore you don't have 192/189 hp and your car is by no means quick. The C230Ks are at best a 7.2s 0-60 car, my guess your's is at least an 8s 0-60 car, which is comparable to some minivans, station wagons, trucks and SUVs.

I have the 189 hp C230K and I would still lose to a lot of cars out there. The newest economy cars come with 170hp+ but only weigh like 2600-3000 lbs, you're going to start losing to cars like Neons and Cavaliers, and losing badly. If you bought this car to race, your $25-30K USD would've been better spent on a WRX, 325i, 350Z, G35 coupe, or RX-8.

it's ok dude, don't worry. I drive a 1987 190E 2.3, and i get killed all the time by my friends (whose cars include Audi S4, Honda S2000, Jaguar X-Type). I only race when i know for sure i can kill the guy. For example, last thursday i raped a Ford Focus. We were head and head till 70, and then i pulled ahead. But if you wanna **** people off, race them, but cut them off so you'll be head. You'll win, but they'll be real, real mad.

Race your C200K against a VW Polo/Lupo, or a Toyota Avensis.

I am also doomed with the slow Benzes: I have gotten killed by basically everything out there. Camry, Caviler, and some old Cadillac. 500SEL and diesel S350 are too slow!
