Out Of Control!!
H7 bulb size... you should use the search function, there is a lot on retrofitting HIDs already

Can you tell more about ur HID fog? I recently have an idea of replacing a set of HID fog on my OEM fog, yet i know nothign about wiring. Could you tell me where you got ur set and the size of the bulb? Thanks a lot

There's only one bulb size that'll fit unless you plan to replace the entire lens. What you have to decide is what temperature range you want to live with. Anything above 6000K is strictly to have that bluish/pinkish look,..., all show!!! There's also possible a light scatter issue you'll have to deal with. I have never compared the lenses on HIDs vs Halogens, but I bet the design (those horizontal and vertical lines on the glass) is not the same. With a HID in a non HID lens, it may look cool but the light scatter may not be that great. I wish someone who has installed these after market units on an ML would respond. But the again, they'd never know what the OEM BiX's look like!!! I have done one of these retrofits on another vehicle. The night view is definitely better than OEM halogen projectors, but light quality from the driver's point of view is a whole other story!!!

ML350 HID Kit
I recently purchased the K1 Motorsport H7 HID kit for my 2005 ML350. Got them installed with some modifications to the bulb retainer piece. By the way, did you have to modify the bulb retainer piece as well? More importantly, my HID's won't light up if they're switched on after the engine is running. I have to turn on the lights first and then start the engine. Did you have the same or similar problem?
