multiple warning messages in 2014 ml 550
Today my 2014 ML 550 went crazy on my wife right around the corner from home. One after another the following messages were displayed......
Blind spot assist inoperative
SRS malfunction
Do not shift gears
Pre safe functions limited
ABS inoperative
Parking brake
Has anyone heard of this happening? Any info would be greatly appreciated

I'm currently dealing with the same thing on my dad's car. I've read from a local forum that the blind spot assist sensor failure can cause this. I unplugged it to see if the errors will come back.

Was it something like this? (See video below). The same thing happened to me and the blind spot sensors (both installed underneath the rear bumper) were the culprits. Apparently, when they get rusted, water gets inside of them and make your ECU go nuts. I would fix it asap. Easy to DIY too.

So it was the blind spot assist sensor causing the erratic dash warning messages. Will order another sensor to switch out. I used this link to help out for a DYI.
