She's Home!!
So I picked her up Friday afternoon! Car looks excellent in person. No surprises at all! The car is in excellent shape for the year and mileage. There is documentation of all work done at MB dealers.
Seems like I got lucky on this one.

The carfax looks good, I just want to know if there's anything out of the ordinary: excessive interior wear on leather, commands, trim or any major scratches or dings on the exterior.

I just talked to one of the managers at GP Motors and I now understand why that car has been for sale for that long, the car is listed for $8K over clean retail on NADA.com

Do any of you patrons of this thread remember the red 07' (08'?) E63 that was for sale on autotrader 2-3 years ago? If so, is the current owner a board member, or someone any of you have the means to contact?
I regretfully passed on the car back then because of poor timing, and would do most anything to find the car again. Haven't seen another red surface since then!
The car was finished with beige leather.

That's the one! Thanks for digging it up! Didn't remember that you included VIN's with your postings, but that may prove very helpful- as you suggested. I may pursue the DMV option, but if anyone knows of a more direct approach- please share!

I believe the seller was a dealer up in the NY area, IIRC. His ebay id is carsandbars. He may have a listing on ebay at the moment and you can contact him and get the new owner's info.

Thanks for the post. Tonight I looked into the "Carsandbars" username, and a) he doesn't appear to be in the NY area, and b) he's only sold two vehicles historically.
