Hello all, new to the forum. Definitely can say that reviewing many threads here has really helped and allowed me to enjoy my C450AMG "fun project".
Based on a thread, just ordered AMR's P2 Stage 2 package with weistec downpipes, and AWE track exhaust. Currently, working on getting the custom duraflex hood skinned in CF to finish off the CF phase, right now its just wrapped. Look forward to the conversations and continual learning here. Just thought I'd share some pics. Thanks again!

Switched out OEM CF rear diffuser with custom CF diffuser and separate fin diffuser to later accept the AWE track exhaust and quad 3.5" round CF exhaust tips.Empty exhaust space (for now)

Hi I'm glad to find this forum. I've been searching for answers here. I just got a 1997 SL500 with about 40,000 miles on it. I drove it last thanksgiving, and it was stored for the winter with the hard top on, but the indicator lights for the top and the roll bar are light up and not functioning. It was hooked it up to a CTEK while it wasn't being driven. It's in pristine condition. I would love to be able to put the top down and be able to cruise with my hair blowing in the wind as my father wanted.
I'm pretty handy with cars, and have a shop with lifts to work out of. So I'm willing to try to DIY it. I read through a bunch of posts. Tried replacing some fuses in the trunk, disconnecting the battery, resinking the windows, looked at the hydraulic fluid (fullish and dark). All to no avail. Couldnt find the switches mentioned in one post. or tried the sequence mentioned in the "129 Roof switch & Roll bar switch glowing - Roof not working ..." thread to suss out the issue yet. I guess I need a special Mercededs OBD reader, and then some speakers.
I posted to the C class forum... Anyone have feedback for me on installing a replacement head unit? I'm looking at a RCA-to-MOST adapter... Any feedback?
Hi everyone. I'm Miami from Atlanta GA, I just brought a 03 c230 K. I'm loving it so far. However, my tape player keeps ejecting the tape adapter. I later will want a way to play my mp3. But I did notice these two cords hanging from the unit can anyone tell me what they may be please?

I am the proud owner of a 15' C300. Brought my baby home last night and am in love! My husband has a 07' C230 that my son now drives to college. I never really drove his car and had NO IDEA what I was missing. I just spent an hour at 5am (PJ's and all) sitting in my car absorbing as much of the owner's manual as possible. LOL
Couple of questions for anyone kind enough to answer.
Sunroof
The pano sunroof seems to pop or drop real hard when closing. I am still under warranty so if this is not normal I would like to know,
Proper closing: I a very confused on how to fully close from a fully open position.

When I try to connect a Iphone 8 I get the message it isn't compatible. I find that hard to believe! Anyone else able to connect an iphone 8 for email?

2005 C230 sedan with manual transmission. I've had it for 8 years but I've decided I'm going to learn more about it.
I'm interested in servicing/fortifying mechanical components as well as learning about the potentials of ECU programming and optimizing. I'm very interested in understanding what sort of hardware/software I can use to work with my car. From what I gather, I can't get access to a Xentry subscription short of a 10k membership. But maybe with my older car, there are alternatives?

The sunroof may need to be re-programmed (usually because the battery was disconnected/discharged for some reason).
I remember calling the service garage all panicked about this once and the told me to push the sunroof buttons in a certain sequence (I don't recall it now). Anyway, if you Google: "reset sunroof on 2015 C300", I'm sure you'll find it.

2006 SL500 - 77,000 km - mint condition - purchased December 2017
1. replaced Serpentine belt
2. replaced LCD screen in the original Command Unit - easy to do if any wants info - cost of screen was $150 Can to my door - screen was from China but is an original Sharp made in Japan
3. seat air functions - while trying to trace fault, I disconnected the passenger seat electrical plugs with ignition in the 'ON' position causing SRS fault light on - my regular shop mechanic cleared the code with his 'SNAP-ON' code
reader - I believe the problem is feed to the pump or the pump itself
