thanks all! Just got rid of my '06 Lexus IS350 (was a really sad day for me, it was my baby) and picked up a C450 white, loaded minus designo seatbelts and AMG steering wheel.
I'm snooping around and am interested in in blacking out emblems and exhaust tip with plastidip.
Does anyone know how plastidip fares with exhaust heat? wondering if it'll hold up (check out this member's DIY, pretty sweet: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...quick-diy.html)

Grats on the pickup. C450 is a great vehicle!
As for plastidip, it's rated for 300 degrees which I believe is within range of your exhaust pipes, but just take a laser thermometer and check to see.
