Researchig my first purchase, maybe used S63AMG
Never owned a Mercedes
But I'm thinking of getting one. Here to do some research. I've had mostly American cars/trucks the past 30 years. I'm thinking about picking up a used S550 or S63 or 65 AMG.
I'm not in a hurry, sometime over the next year or so. It wouldn't be a daily driver, more like a weekend car.
This is the first time I've ever looked at this forum. I'm looking forward to learning about Mercedes.

Welcome! Those are some heady cars your contemplating... driven anything yet ? may be same body but ride is gonna a bit diff between S and AMG version of an S

I'm also old enough to be over muscle for muscle's sake (lol) and would like some performance with luxury/refinement in equal measure. That sounds like a job for Mercedes-Benz!

The newer the AMG the faster they seem to get... if your looking for comfort and speed can't go wrong with an AMG S class
Although my new GLE is damned quick and very comfortable... sounds good to...

You know it's funny... I have a buddy with a small museum of muscle cars... his daily driver ? 2017 AMG c63s..... he traded his ctsv in after a road trip in my old ML63... he had no clue German cars could move and sound like these...
