Hey guys,

I am looking for the best place in California- yes anywhere in CA- to do a Kleeman SC install on my 2002 SL500 Silver Arrow. An R129.

I see lots of info for the 230...the 2003- SL500...but none for my car.

Can an R129 be done?

Anyone here have it done?

I had Dinan do my M3 (sold) and was very happy with the CARB legal results.

I am looking for the install that yields around 500HP ...the so called K S4 install...or the ECU reprogram addition K S5 for 526.

Canepa Designs installed a kompressor on a R129 Silver Arrow not too long ago. Evosport, Topline Automobile, Conversion Techniques- they are all quality oriented installation partners.

Can it be done? YES!

I haven't heard back from Canepa yet.

What about the CARB legal status? Will I get stickers for under my hood to pass the visual inspection?

I want to talk to the Silver Arrow guy...

His reference would be worth it's weight in gold. Evosport is where I am headed unless I can get some good info from Canepa. Santa Cruz is closer than Huntington Beach for me, although it may actaully be easier to drop my car in HB and fly home.

The kompressor system does have an E.O number and you do get a plaque for your engine bay. Call Canepa and ask for George- he can get you in touch with the Silver Arrow customer.
