Ive purchased in the past a few late 80s model e class 300s.. I'm going to look at a 94 S class 320 being sold for 2100.. What should I look for? Pros? Cons? Need a daily driver.

I've heard of lots of electrical problems with this car, but very little mechanical. Google is your friend.

Welcome.

check wire harness under hood, for insulation cracking off wires. Most owners changed to newer harness. This is a problem on all euro cars between 1992 and 1996

W140 is the S class chasis model from 91-99 prdeceded by the w126 and followed by w220, moved to get you feedback for the forum members in-line with the chasis. The w140 is a solid car, look for maintenance records and wire harness replacement upper and lower on pre 96 models. For daily travel check suspension as this is a heavy car and poor maintenance should show in tire wear, sagging rear, etc.
A daily driver for a 23 year old not well maintained Benz is a sure fire way to have expensive repairs and this of course would depend on your daily travel distance, road conditions, and climate location. $2100 does not sound like the price for a well maintained Benz.

agreed on the price, unless it's an anomaly, sounds like an ill maintained benz that will cost you a lot more than that initial $2100 in a short amount of time... are you mechanically inclined and be doing the repairs or will you send it to a shop ?
