Is there a special tool needed to remove the existing steering and install the new one? Also, what happens to the airbag module?
Thanks.
Thanks.

installation and airbag
Tools needed to remove and install steering wheels
You need to use your original airbag on the new steering wheel!
We build our wheel on OEM cores so guarantee fit!

we dont have detail instruction, basically
1 park the car safely so you don't have to move the car during installation, move the steering wheel farest away from steering column then turn off the car and remove the key from ignition.
2 use tool#3 to remove airbag from 2 holes in the back.
3 disconnect the 2 wire connectors from the airbag, there may be more connectors depends on models, just disconnect them, the connectors will not be mixed since they are all in different shape and color
4 use tool#1 and #2 to remove the center nut from the steering wheel
5 before remove the steering wheel, make a mark on wheel and column, there is a notch and guide line but sometime the motch is offset to the right or left
6 put on the new wheel then reverse the above steps!

Anyone deciding to do this should be extremely careful and make absolutely certain that the airbag is re-installed properly. If not it could pose a very dangerous hazard on the highway if it were to deplore unexpectedly because of improper installation.
