did you check your refrigerant pressure ? Low AC pressure is most common reason AC turns off and cannot turn back on Originally Posted by asifnaveed

Good call. I was going to ask what turned the AC light on in the first place? Clearing the code doesn't fix the problem. If the refrigerant is still too low, you're not going to have the AC system work.Originally Posted by tusabes

What was the error code? How many bars did the AC system show? If it is low (or empty) find out why. Must be a leak somewhere if it's really low.
Good luck and keep us posted with your progress.

If you search under my Nick here and on the other forum, I posted that problem. It required an SDS system to correct a detected software error deep inside the AC system menu by a reset (not with the usual reset).
Good luck!

Sorry for late reply. your advice is well noted i will get it checked by today itself and keep you guys updated. just for your information i had the same issue almost a month back then i visited the MB repair shop (Not Stealer) he connected star and just erased the error and all went fine after that. but again i had this problem a week ago and i did not had the time to drive it or go to the work shop since i have another car. any how thanks for your advice again
The reset isn't fixing whatever the real problem is
and I'm guessing the real priblem
is low refrigerant , so it will just turn off again

have you checked the 'REST' menu? Press and hold the REST button for about 10 seconds....a new menu will show up and you can arrow up or down to go through the different values of many different sensors. One of which is the level of refrigerant bars in the system. This will show (or not show) the problem with the refrigerant pressures.
Good luck.
Good luck.

i checked the refregrent it wa 8 bar then i connected the car with diagnostic computer and the error it showed was of evaporator sensor. I just cleared the code by cimputer and its working fine its been 4 days and still there is no problem.. on the other hand my question is why my car doesnt drlete the acc error by itself just like other w220s 😩Originally Posted by tusabes

W220 ACC doesn't re-set it's fault codes when the fault clears.
Very bad mistake by Mercedes.
