Driver fog light fuse
Does anyone know if the fog lights have a separate fuse for each side?
I tested the driver side and there is no power going to the connection so I am thinking its a fuse but my passenger side works.
Anyone know where fuses are located and what number fuse it is?
Thanks so much

Does anyone have any idea why I wouldn't be getting any power to my fog lights or parking lights? I called Mercedes and they don't really want to help. Is there a relay fuse or Sam that is in control of these lights. The headlights seem to be working fine.

Thank you for responding.
Do you where exactly the front sam is located?
More importantly, will the entire unite need to be replaced or are there certain components that can me repaired?

If no mods have been done concerning lighting most you can do is check wiring to front SAM, if malfunction started after mod you may need to have front SAM recoded using MB DAS.

What happened was, when the body shop tried to wire up my new fog light, they had a novice do it. He didn't understand that it needed resistors. So after he gave up on wiring them up correctly, he tied both negative and positive wires together and taped them up like that and delivered the vehicle. I just realized this since I wanted to tighten up the gap on my new 63 front bumper. Total hack job! Bolts missing. Cut my factory wring harness before he confirmed it would work. I sure with the wiring connected that way, he threw the switch and it eventually shorted. The parking lights don't have power either. They don't want to take responsibility because they say they informed me that they were not experts on electrical. I say they took on the project and should make me whole. My hid fog lights worked perfect for years before it got there.
Anyway. I just want to fix it myself and get it over with.
So I see the Sam is under the front fuse box. Are there fuses connected to it? How could I trace the wiring. The wires seem to come together into one large harness.

If all wire connections @ SAM seem fine unit electronic board may be damaged Shown without housing, have someone pull fault codes with MB DAS.

So I'm sourcing a new Sam online but I'm finding that some do not share the exact Mercedes part number. There are many numbers on the same unit. If I go this route what all part numbers must match up? I hear some of these can be interchangeable.
