W221 ANDROID touchscreen...
the first 2 S classes I looked at had the big amp and its so average I was very much underwhelmed - the stock sub is out of control at half vol and pushing it higher of course conmme, you will get distortion. The step you need and its possible, but a pfhaff is to add one of these Audison Prima 8.9 https://www.audison.eu/products/ap-f8-9-bit/
see this guys 3 years journey, only fixed when he swapped out the junk power amp (you still have to have it to do the pre amp features but don't bother using a Merc Amp section its not capable) - I was coming from a BMW where there is a plug and play upgrade to one of theses amps and its pretty much all you need - its light years on from anything Merc do

Did you have this to?
Did you also have 1 cable from the original screen not connected in the new situation?

My vendor says it should work with NTG 3.0, so i am gone try it again end of this week.
Someone already mentioned that once before.
I have this located outside of glove box, but nothing seems to be going through it when I test it, but it is connected to the comand....As far as I can tell.

You could check which pins it goes to behind the Comand unit. Also I have no idea how this android device affects the existing AUX audio line.

My glove box has 12V/USB/MMI and I was hoping that 3.5 mm jack which is mounted under the glove box was active, but it's not.
When you remove the ac controls you unplug 4 connectors. Well those have to be plugged back in and the single lin cable needs to be plugged in the switch cable for height/sport/parking and the car has to be running if you want to "test" those buttons. Trying any other way results in them not working when you press them onscreen. I hope that is what you are asking me?

Don't worry. I did the same thing. This blah blah blah doesn't work then read somewhere where everything has to actually be plugged back in and running.
Once i did that i got happy as they did in fact work and it was purely user error on my part. So I took a picture showing the switch lights are actually on.
